Urfi Javed was born in a Muslim family in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on 15 October 1997. She did her schooling at City Montessori School, Lucknow. She graduated from Amity University, Lucknow in mass communication.

Urfi Javed is the daughter of Ifru Javed and Zakiya Sultana and has three sisters, Urusa, Asfi, and Dolly Javed, and a brother named Sameer Aslam. She had a difficult childhood, as her father mistreated her mother and siblings verbally and physically.
she is very fashionable and likes to wear shorts and different outfits since childhood. She was born in a middle-class Muslim family so these types of clothes were not allowed to wear. not even she could effort to buy those types of outfits. but she is so passionate about her outfit. when urfi javed was in school, she used to make clothes from useless things, or cut big clothes and make a short crop T-shirt or skirt like that.

urfi Javed began dating her Meri Durga co-actor Paras Kalnawat in 2017. The couple broke up in 2018. Urfi and Paras met on the sets of the TV show Meri Durga’ who fell in love and dated for around 5 months. The couple then called it quits. The actress stated, “I wanted to break up with him one month after we got together. He was a kid. He was very possessive. in an interview, she said” At present, she is not dating anyone, for 5 years she wants to be alone and focus on her career.

Career
Javed gained public recognition for her fashion sense during her time as a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT, where she wore a dress made out of a garbage bag. Javed has made and worn several pieces described as ‘bizarre dresses’ by Lifestyle Asia, including dresses made out of watches, yellow flowers, chains, and pins.
Apart from appearing on Bigg Boss OTT, Uorfi Javed has acted in several TV shows. She is known for portraying the role of Avni in Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania. She was also seen as Aarti in Meri Durga, Bella in Bepannaah, and Mira in Punch Beat Season 2 which streamed on ALT Balaji.
From 2016 to 2017, Uorfi played the role of Chhaya in Star Plus’s Chandra Nandini. In 2018, the actress played Kamini Joshi in SAB TV’s Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie. In 2020, Uorfi Javed joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Shivani Bhatia and later played Tanisha Chakraborty in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
In December 2022, Urfi Javed became one of the most searched Asians on Google, ahead of Bollywood celebrities. As of January 2023, urfi Javed has over 4 million Instagram followers.
in 2022, she announced her change of name to Uorfi on social media and suggested that she be referred to by her new name. Although pronounced the same, the spelling change was done on a numerologist’s advice.
Uorfi Javed has taken a dig at former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover, after an FIR was lodged on the entrepreneur and his wife Madhuri Grover for an alleged ₹81 crore fraud in December 2022 as complained by BharatPe. Uorfi took to her Instagram Stories to post an old clip of Ashneer where he was seen talking about her status as a celebrity without any ‘core.’
