nobody shared notes or talked to me like you are separate, not part of our college. that time I realized if I want to be successful in life, I should not depend on A or B, I should depend on myself. you are my best friend to yourself. you are the worst enemy yourself. I will depend on myself so I will be very attentive in class and I will make my notes, I will not ask anybody and come back home and study and show everyone that a girl can do engineering.”

sudha murty is talking about her personal life

person like narayan murty(her husband) who eats, breaths, and drinks Infosys. he cannot spare any time for the family it is like a tapas (olden days Rishi go and sit in a forest and do tapas )the tapas is Infosys for narayan murty.

A son of a school teacher can build an empire like Infosys in 30 years. it is not a joke. that means the person should be dedicated his entire life to that dreaming about it talking about it then

What is duty of wife when husband is busy in career?

expecting  to take me out for a movie, or shopping none of these are possible in Mr. N.R Murty’s life so I accept a person as he is. That is what I tell women to accept your husband what he is. this is a secret of successful marriage life.

neither beauty nor money nothing stays with you. most beautiful person of today will become old one day. today whatever you see will become old one day. old age is a part of life. people who were very rich once upon a time may not remain like that because money is always wavery. people have a lot of land properties due to many reasons so in life nothing is permanent.

what is permanent is knowledge. knowledge nobody can steal, nobody can burn, nobody can bury. knowledge is something the more you give the more wealthy you become.

when she had convocation at IIT Kanpur student asked

what to you do when people talked badly about you?

she answered:   let them talk about how it matters, suppose many people come to my foundation and asked for money and sometimes we don’t give and sometimes they are good people we give. if I say no, they say she is a really bad lady, someone says she is ok but she can give more money. people talk about many things.

if you have confidence in yourself, you should not bother about it. you required great confidence in yourself. if you are less confident, what others talk it affects you, let them talk about what they want. I know what I m from the inside. when you get that feeling and work for your goal nobody can stop you.

A fire cannot be extinguished with another fire. It is only water that can make a difference.”  – Sudha Murthy
